Skagit River Winter Packrafting [Video]

Had a fun packrafting run down the Skagit River yesterday, from Goodell Creek in North Cascades National Park to the town of Marblemount with the river flowing at 6420 cfs.

The upper part of this 13.5 mile run starts with occasional Class II rapids and ends with three back-to-back rapids rated Class III+ at this flow. The lower part of the run is a beautiful stretch of Class I.

Saw about a dozen bald eagle along the river.

Happy paddling!
