Washington Coast Photoshoot [Video]

I got to experience three wonderful days camped out on Shi Shi Beach in Olympic National Park on a mid-January solo backpacking trip. I had two colorful sunsets and had the opportunity to make some classic Washington Coast photographs.

Shi Shi Beach is typically packed with backpackers a lot of the year, but on this mid-January trip, I had the beach all to myself for three days. This stretch of beach faces northwest, and the camping areas do not get any sunlight this time of year, so it was quite cold. But the solitude and the scenery were all worth it, and I was able to make some photographs that I am pretty happy with and have added to my on-line print portfolio.
